Where should you store your Balls? Golf balls that is...
It turns out the best place to store your golf balls is the freezer. Yup, right there between the cookies and cream ice cream and the frozen ribeyes. Now I don't know about you, but I don't like my balls right next to my meat and my wife won't allow it. Besides, my ballz don't like the cold. Ok now back to the facts. According to the USGA that froze a golf ball for 14 years and put another on a shelf, tested them with a robot to see if there would be a difference. And you thought you had a lot of time on your hands. It turns out the thawed out frozen ball only lost 1 foot per second whereas the shelf ball lost 2.6 feet per second. I don't think the average golfer would be able to tell the difference. So, keep your ballz in your pants and not in the cooler.
